This badge was made in the 1970's by the defunct J.A. Meyers Company in Los Angeles, CA.  It is made of solid brass with hard-fired blue enamel and in my opinion was the highest-quality badge of this style that was ever made.  It is unused and the old ball catch is complete and still tight.  The title OFICIAL was used by higher-ranking officers like Lieutenant and above back in those days.  It is 3" tall.
