Description
This Badge was manufactured for the Borough of Jewitt City, Connecticut which is a tiny municipality formed in late 1890's.
The badge erroneously had a New Jersey State Seal placed at center point. Undeliverable with the wrong Seal this badge floated in the badge collectors world and was located by me at a Show in Titusville Fl. several years ago.
It is a standard sized shield with a screw post at the back. It reads: JEWITT CITY, POLICE. Condition is very good.
