Offered here is a Breast Badge and a Hat Badge. They are vintage dating back to circa 1945.
The Badge is 3 inches Tall by 1.75 inches Wide. Lettering on this item reads: SPECIAL POLICE, MORRIS TOWNSHIP, NJ, #1. At the center of this item is a State Seal which is 1" in diameter. The rear of the Badge has a working, but loose, "Pin and 'C' Catch". There is also a Hallmark from "C Braxton, 242 Warren St, NYC" This item is in good condition although the gold tone finish has lost a little of its' brilliance.
The Hat Badge is 3inches by 2 inches. It is the standard NJ Seal with the bottom panel reading: "SPECIAL POLICE."
