Pre-owned Original Obsolete Santa Monica Police visor hat & hat badge

This items date back to the 20th Century

going by the hallmark this is from 1960's 1970's

Item description

Hat was made by Long beach Uniform Co

Eight points hat 100 Wool

 Hat approx size 7 3/8" 

Color Lapd Blue

The hat has seen use but still in good condition one tiny moth hole on the top

Is two marking on the front where the hat badge is attached

The head leather is soft

Construction:  Gold plated with applied panel, blue hard enamel 

Attachments: Two post screws

Size approx: 2 1/2" wide by   2 1/2"

Condition: Used minor scratches
