When East Germany was incorporated into the Federal Republic, nearly all of the used Volkspolizei uniforms were collected and destroyed. These shoulder boards and collar tabs were stripped from these uniforms and placed into bins. I was able to obtain one of these bins from a police contact over there and I now make these available.
After many hours, I have gone through the bin and have matched these pairs as best I can by age and condition, including the correct arrangement of the arrows on the braid. This is a representative sample of what you will receive. I will send the cleanest sets I have on hand, but have to warn you that some of these are faded or a bit dirty. These did NOT spend their lives unused in a warehouse. These were actually used by the Volkspolizei and show age, wear and use. Placement of the stars may vary from this example shown here.
