Badge obtained during my 32-year career at the US Supreme Court in Washington, DC. New to this site but have sold on eBay for decades under Cheswick44 (1740 feedback).

This investiture badge commemorates the investiture of the 17th Chief Justice of the United States, John G. Roberts, Jr.  It was made by Collinson, Inc. and was worn from the day of the investiture through December 12, 2005. The badge and lapel pin are in the original velvet box and comes with a white gift box featuring the seal of the Court.  This badge was worn by the Supreme Court Police and no other agency.
