Very early SCHOOL SHERIFF SHIELD / BADGE. IT IS ATTACHED TO A LEATHER BELT ATTACHMENT. I have not removed but can see on the backside a makers mark: CARNES STAMP COMPANY, ST. PAUL - - manufacturer of police, fire and other law enforcement badges, circa 1949 (Carnes was located at 315 Jackson Street in Saint Paul, Mn Shield size: 2 inches tall . Has working pin . The school sheriff that was issued this badge wired the badge to the leather piece and is offered AS FOUND. . UNITED STATES SHIPPING ONLY
